Mike Thurlow of Lee, a lifelong Maine logger, will run half of the MIllinocket Marathon on December 9th, 2017 in FULL LOGGING GEAR. To continue giving back, he is requesting that supporters donated to Make-A-Wish Maine to help grant the wishes of Maine children battling life-threatening medical conditions. If donations exceed $1,000, he will carry his chainsaw as he runs.
Well, Mike is going to be carrying a chainsaw thanks to all of you. Now that Mike has met the intial goal of $1000, he has decide to up his goal to $7,000, the average cost of a wish in Maine. Let's all help Mike meet his new goal!
"I have worked 40 years supplying wood to these mills and I'm running to represent all the loggers who spent their lives in the MAine wood feeding the mills." - Mike Thurlow
