Welcome to My Personal Page
Many of you do, while others may not, know that 26 years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Disease, a type of Cancer that attacks your lymphatic system. It was one of the most challenging times of my life, which unfortunately occurred shortly after the loss of my father.
As you can imagine, it wasn’t the easiest time to get through and to this day I still deal with the emotional trauma that was caused by this disease.
Although this was a very dark time in my life the Make A Wish Foundation, who grants wishes to children facing life-threatening diseases, provided me with an opportunity to fulfill one of my biggest dreams. And if you know anything about me, you probably can guess what it was….sitting courtside at a New York Knicks game!
To this day, I cannot thank the Make A Wish Foundation enough for what they did. They shined a bright light upon me and gave me a jolt of life that I truly needed.
With all of that said, my colleagues and I decided last year that we were going to participate in the Walk For Wishes event raising money for the Foundation. I'm proud to say that we were the top fundraising company, I was the top individual fundraiser and they've asked me to speak on their behalf at their kickoff event which I'll gladly do next month!
I ask you to please support me, Jillian and Dillon in our quest to help the Make A Wish Foundation help other children just like me who needed a little help!
Thank you for listening and I truly appreciate any penny you would donate to this years walk which is taking place on September 10th.
