Dear Friends and Family,
I am working with Spring Valley Winter Days to raise money for the Make-A-Wish South Carolina chapter!
Winter Days is a community service project known throughout Northeast Columbia for its wonderful impact on the community the past many 15 years. Winter Days collects canned goods, toys, children’s books, homeless outreach bags, as well as cleaning supplies that will go directly to local women’s and children’s shelters. This year, as the Winter Days chairperson, I am in charge of assisting this wonderful organization by helping to raising $7,500 for a child that is battling a life-threatening medical condition.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in the U.S. that provides experiences to children with life threatening medical conditions. The children who are sponsored, make a wish, such as something big they want to do or see, and the wish is granted by Make-A-Wish Foundation. Wishes differ, and some examples are a child wishing for a vacation or wishing to meet his/her favorite sports team. Thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters are involved in making it possible for the children’s wishes to come true.
On behalf of the Winter Days service project, as well as the children involved in Make-A-Wish, I am asking you to please consider these children in need, and make a monetary donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation through Winter Days. We would be grateful for any monetary donation you would be willing to provide. Please make your charitable donation checks payable to Spring Valley High School-Winter Days or click the "donate to this fundraiser" button at the top right corner. Once you do so, enter my name "Tanvi Mehta" into the search box to donate to me! If you have any questions regarding this effort, please feel free to contact me at 803-553-5836 or email@example.com. Your donation is tax deductible.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this request. With your generosity, we are very excited about reaching our Winter Days goals and contributing to the positive impact we can all make in the lives of children with wishes that can be made possible.
With love and always For The Kids,
