Dear Friends and Family,
When Maddie was diagnosed with TSC so many things changed for our family. The disease quickly turned our world upside down. In November of 2015 she had double brain surgery in hopes of stopping her uncontrollable seizures. It was by far the most stressful time we have ever had as a family. But things started to look up after the surgery. She was recovering quickly and was, and still is seizure free! In January of 2016, MAW called and told us Maddie would have a wish granted. It was so exciting to know that after all she had been through we had something so big to look forward too! There weren't any details left out of her magical wish. We had so much fun counting down the days! Finally in May 2016 we got on a plane headed to Florida to spend a full week in Disney World. That week was the most magical week we have ever experienced. Maddie was treated like the princess we knew she was. Her face had a permanent smile on it as we enjoyed a week free of stress or worry. It was a week of rest for our souls as we watched Maddie be a "normal" little girl. The moment we stepped on the plane to come back home we knew we needed to help MAW grant as many of these wishes as possible. We saw the impact it made on Maddie and us, and had to continue this wonderful week to as many kids as possible.
That's why we are so happy to partner up with them for their 35th anniversary of granting wishes. Please help by contributing any amount you can - $50, $75, $100 or even more. Every dollar you donate can help Make-A-Wish kids renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives. We know first hand how much joy this organizations brings to families like ours.
Thank you for your support!
