Dear Friends and Family,
As many may know, my younger brother Cole, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 16. After extensive rounds of Chemotherapy and other treatments, Cole was cancer free. What seemed like the best news ever nearly faded 3 months later when Cole was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, for a second time. Once Cole was diagnosed the second time, he was admitted to MD Anderson in Houston where he went under a stem cell transplant.
Getting such devastating news took a toll on our family and I know it wasn't easy for my brother but he always tried to see the positive in every situation he faced.
Rewind a bit - before Cole went on to MD Anderson, we were notified that Make-A-Wish would like to grant Cole a wish. Coles wish was to visit Germany to get a more in depth feel for all of the History Germany had to offer. I won't get into all of the details on his wish but this happened to be our first time overseas and it forever changed our life, attitude and the way we view each and every day.
Make-A-Wish took what was a horrible situation for us and gave us the opportunity to feel that strength, hope and joy and I am forever blessed.
Therefore, I would like to do the same and help give back to Make-A-Wish to give families the experience and hope that we were given. I hope you can join me in helping change someones life.
Please help by contributing any amount you can - $50, $75, $100 or even more. Every dollar you donate can help Make-A-Wish kids renew their courage and find a turning point in their lives.
Thank you for your support!
