Dear Colleagues, Friends and Family,

Throughout the month of March, the Women’s Success Network will be hosting various fundraisers to try to raise $4,400 and grant the wish of a local child who is facing a life-threatening medical condition. The Women’s Success Network chose to partner with Make-A-Wish, because we believe that the hope, strength and joy that comes from receiving a wish is critical to the overall health of the child. A wish has a real and lasting impact on the wish children and their families.

One such family who understands this impact firsthand is that of team member Kassie Rittenour. Her cousin, Lacey, and her stepbrother, Travis, have both received wishes. Kassie shared that, “The wish allowed them to not worry about the situation at hand for a moment and instead form memories as a family”

Though many of her peers were spending time at the mall or hanging out with their friends, 13-year-old Lacey was busy fighting leukemia. To lift her spirits, Make-A-Wish planned a grand shopping spree fit for a princess. By the end of her special day, Lacey walked out of the mall with multiple shopping carts, all stuffed with clothes, shoes and jewelry she never imagined owning. She was excited to show off her new wardrobe to her family and friends and could not wait to pick out her outfits once she went back to school.

Travis, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor, had his wish to visit Hawaii granted when he was 14-years-old. On the beautiful island of Maui, Travis enjoyed unique activities, such as snorkeling in a volcanic crater, hiking to the top of a volcano and learning to surf. Now 21 and pursuing a career as an actor, Travis says Hawaii is his favorite place, and often talks about wanting to live there. In his words, “I grew up watching kids have their greatest wishes granted through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A couple years after being diagnosed, I got mine. Thank you to Make-A-Wish for not only granting my wish to Hawaii, but for giving me, and the countless other children, a time to forget all things bad.”

Please help us give back to this incredible organization by donating TODAY. You will make a significant difference for a child who fights for life every day.

On behalf of the Women’s Success Network and CVS Health,

Thank you!
