Dear Friends and Family,
I've always been a fan of Make-A-Wish, but it wasn't until this year, when I ran into someone I know (Randi) whose daughter received a wish, that I thought I'd invite others to join me in making wishes come true. Randy talked at length with me about his daughter's magical wish to go to Disney World. As I was listening to him share every detail of her wish with such joy, I thought to myself, "This is why I love to give to Make-A-Wish."
Like so many of you, I've been fortunate in my life. I've never had to watch a child struggle with a life-threatening illness. I've never had to wonder if my child would live long enough to graduate, get married, or have their own children. I've been blessed. That's one of the reasons I like to give back, especialy to Make-A-Wish.
I hope you'll join me in supporting Make-A-Wish by making a donation TODAY. My goal is to raise $1,000, and I'm willing to match up to $500 if I can raise $500 in the next few weeks.
Wouldn't that be a wonderful gift to ourselves? By making a donation, you're putting a smile on a child's face, you're letting them know that there are people who are ensuring that they have a break from their illness, and a chance to be a kid again. And for their parents -- you're allowing them to be a family again, even if it's only for a day or a week.
Thank you so much, and happy holidays!
