Dear Friends and Family,
My name is Beau Thetford and my Wish is being granted to go trekking in Nepal! I am extremely grateful that almost three years since I made a full recovery from cancer, Make-A-Wish has followed through and made this possible. I’m super excited to meet the people, take millions of photos and test my physical limits. I can’t even begin to imagine the new sights, smells, flavors and sounds that I’ll experience, I’m eager to learn as much as I can from the journey!
Ever grateful, my family and I couldn’t help but give back! Make-A-Wish is a charity with little overhead expenses— thus most of the money goes straight to the kids. The majority of their publicity comes from the people they give to. We wanted to shout our story so that everyone might hear what a difference the Make-A-Wish foundation makes in the lives of young people and their families. When kids have medical conditions, many for which we’ve yet to find a cure, a cure for the weathered spirit may be just as important.
I am one example of the many Wish Kids Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles grants the wishes for! I believe that a Make-A-Wish experience can change everything for a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
Thank you for your support!
