I'm Robert. I'm a Star Trek: The Original Series fan, Subaru car owner, Subaru enthusiast and Subaru Ambassador. Growing up watching Star Trek in the 60's and 70's helped me to dream big, and dream about a future where diseases were cured and people could follow their dreams.
When I was a kid, one of my biggest dreams... one of my greatest wishes... was to walk the decks of the U.S.S. Enterprise. That wish came true in the small town of Ticonderoga, NY, where I helped build those very sets that helped my childhood wishes come true.
But the reality is, Doctor McCoy hasn't even been born yet, and EVERY YEAR, 38,000 children in the US die from a terminal condition. 38,000 children who won't have the time to make their dreams and wishes come true. Because of that, I'm doing what I can to help ensure Make-A-Wish can grant as many wishes as possible to as many terminally ill children as they can.
So, please, help me, Subaru of America, and the "48 Hours of Tristate" Charity Team raise money to help support the Make a Wish Foundation to help others!!! I'll be doing a 3 day, 3 state charity drive to bring attention (and donations) to Make A Wish, so they can dontinue to help grant the wishes of terminally ill children.
Please donate $5, $10, $50 or whatever amount you can to this great cause.
Thank you for your support!
