Walk For Wishes is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the more than 270,000 wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. It's a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, donors and friends.
By participating in the St. Louis Walk For Wishes, you can celebrate the over 6,000 local wishes already granted and help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to other children in your community who are battling life-threatening medical conditions.

Packet pick-up and ‘things to know’ about the day of event:
Event Day Schedule! Walk For Wishes will be held at the Upper Muny Parking Lot – Forest Park#1 Theatre Drive, St. Louis, MO 63112
- Check-in begins at 7:00 am
- Run begins at 8:00 am
- Opening Ceremony at 8:45am
- Walk begins at 9:00 am
Walk For Wishes is a rain or shine event. In case of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page for complete event updates.
Packets! New this year, ALL Runners and Walkers get a Packet! Your packet which includes your event shirt (if you met the fundraising minimum) and event credentials (bib) can be picked up at:

Friday, April 14th from 10:00am to 8:00pm

Since you will have already picked up your packet, you just need to show up the day of the event between 7:00am – 8:45am. (Reminder: the Run starts at 8:00am) You will not need to check-in when you arrive. Please be sure your bib is visible at the event.
Packet pick-up will also be offered on event day between 7:00am-8:45am, however, prior pickup is encouraged as lines may be long the morning of the event.
And, YES, you may have someone else pick up your packet for you.
The starting location! The staging area/starting location for this year’s event is located at the Upper Muny Parking lot in Forest Park. The run will start at 8:00am and the Walk will start at 9:00am. Runners may also walk with their families if they choose to.
Parking! You will be able to park at the staging area, but parking will be very limited there. There will also be parking in the lower Muny parking lot, the twin lots near the tennis courts and the visitor center as well as street parking.
Event Bibs! New this year! All runners and walkers will receive an event bib. Runners will receive a Fleet Feet chipped bib. All walkers will receive a custom Walk For Wishes bib. Please make sure your bib is visible at the event. You may pick up your bib at packet pick-up or at registration the morning of the Walk.
Event shirts! Only those participants who raised a minimum of $100 will receive an event shirt. Shirts can be picked up at the packet pick-up events or on Walk Day.
Day of event registration! If you know people who want to participate but have not signed up, they still can! We will be holding registration the morning of the event. The Walk is free but the Run fee is $25. They can still receive an event shirt if they donate a minimum of $100. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
Donations! We will still accept donations the day of the event. Please bring them to the donation tent.
First aid! In the event that you need medical assistance, there will a first aid station located at the starting location.
Restrooms! Restrooms will be located at the starting location.
After Walk Wish Zone Party (presented by Mercy & Eaton!) After the walk, come back to the staging area for the after Walk Wish Zone party sponsored by Mercy and Eaton. Enjoy food, fun and entertainment. Bounce on a bounce house, climb a rock wall, test your skills at the adrenaline maze obstacle course, check out the St. Louis County Police robot, see a real race car up close, take a ‘Selfie with a Soldier’, visit the petting zoo, plus much more! Snacks, water and Vess Soda will be available. Water will also be available along the run/walk route.
Wish Kids and Families! Be sure to stop by the Wish Kid check-in tent when you arrive at the event to receive your special souvenir shirts! Plus, you’ll get a wristband to attend the VIP tent for some yummy breakfast treats! (VIP wristband are limited to Wish Kid and immediately family)
Dogs! Your furry friends are welcome to attend the Walk For Wishes. However, they must be well behaved and on a leash. Be sure to clean up after your friends too!
Questions? If you have questions or need assistance during the walk/run, please find police officer, park ranger or volunteer and ask for assistance. If you are at the starting location, please find a volunteer in ‘staff’ shirt and they will assist you.
