Thank you to Gevurtz Menashe, Barran Liebman, Greene & Markley and Markowitz Herbold for hosting the inaugural Boutique Buddy Invitational. More than 150 golfers, sponsors, vendors and volunteers gathered to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of golf at Columbia Edgewater Country Club and raised more than $30,000 for local wishes.

  Our fairy godmothers  
 
  As we head into the holiday season, we’d like to give thanks to our 300 volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to bring hope and happiness to local children. From wish granting and event planning to scrapbooking and filing, they make it possible for Make-A-Wish® Oregon to grant more than 200 wishes each year. “Our volunteers are the kindest and most giving people,” said Darcie LaMotte-Waage, Make-A-Wish Oregon volunteer manager. “The impact they have on local kiddos is truly heartwarming.” One wish child said it best when he called his volunteer wish granters “fairy godmothers.”
